Calling all Southern Pacific Zone Water Polo Players
Tryouts are coming soon for the SOPAC (Zone 7) Zone Teams that are the USA Water Polo National team tryout pipeline.
2008 marks the first year of a new, two-year cycle, for players to participate on either the Junior Team (players born in 1991 or 1992) or Youth Team (players born in 1993 or later).
Players selected to these teams will be eligible to participate in the National Zone Team Championships to be held in various locations throughout the United States over the Memorial Day weekend. During the Zone Championships, selected players may be invited to join the National Junior and Youth teams.
This year’s Southern Pacific Zone Team Tryouts will be held (updated 3/2):
* Girls Junior (91): Friday, 3/14, 6:30PM to 9:30PM at Santa Marg. HS
Saturday, 3/15, 9:00AM to 4:00PM at Santa Marg. HS
Sunday, 3/16, 9:00AM to 4:00PM at Santa Marg. HS

To be eligible to sign-up and participate in the tryouts a player must be:
* A member in good standing with USA Water Polo
* Registered with a Club Program located within the Southern Pacific Zone
The cost of this years tryouts are $95.00 payable during online registration.
To register please go to www.sopacwp.com and click on the “Zone Team” heading on the left side, middle of the home page. From there please follow the directions for the registration via the Club Assistant program. Prior to starting the sign up process you will need to know your USAWP membership number. If you don’t know your number or you need to register, you can go to www.usawaterpolo.com to take care of all related USA Water Polo needs
