LA CANADA WINTER/SPRING LEAGUES

This
year for the first time, The La Canada Water Polo Foundation is planning on
operating Winter/Spring Water Polo leagues.
Entry to these leagues is on first come first serve basis.
We want the best possible competition for the players.
These leagues are set up for the benefit of the players.
The cost of the officials is the major expense in running these
leagues. These leagues are not
fundraisers for the La Canada Water Polo Foundation.
They are intended to provide QUALITY competition for players in our
area.
COST
PER TEAM: $500.00 (approx.
$40 per player for a 12 player team)
for each league
Winter
League: 20 games per team Spring
Evening League 16 games
In the event that individual players
want to play we will put together with 12 players on a team and provide
a coach. Cost for individual
players is $50.00 per player.

A: Focus on the high school
varsity players - Sunday

B: Focus on the Age Group
& Frosh/Soph players - Saturday
The format will be that
a maximum of 6 team in each group will play a round robin tournament each team
playing 2 games per day. In this
way each player will get a maximum of playing time.
The schedule will run so that each player will be there for no more
than a total time of three consecutive games.
Each game will have two qualified officials.
