The SOPAC Zone is one of 11 zones of USA Water Polo (click here for zones map). It is comprised of USAWP members residing in the counties of Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino in the State of California. At one time the zones were also referred to by numbers, the Southern Pacific zone being zone "7" as referenced in its logo, but currently the zones are referred to exclusively by their names. For more information on zones please click the logo.
In addition to the grassroots and scholastic age programs, the Southern Pacific Zone fully supports post-scholastic programs. To find a Masters program near you, please click here. Select your area and select Masters in the age group section and click search clubs!

ODP- Olympic Development Program
The purpose of the Olympic Development Program is to serve as the feeder system for USA Water Polo's National Teams. The foundation of the program is a systematic approach to athlete and development through a training program that stresses the importance of being physically fit with a strong overall technical base that inter-connects with tactical component of the game.
Designed to introduce the sport of water polo to children 5-9 years old. The intent is to provide basic skills and understanding of the sport in a recreational format. Although water polo is known for its toughness and endurance, SplashballTM harnesses all the fun, dynamic aspects of the game in a safe, easy to learn aquatic experience that will motivate kids to swim and stay fit.
